The US Embassy in Thailand

The Consular Section of the US Embassy in Thailand has three units: American Citizens Services, Immigrant Visa Unit and the Nonimmigrant visa Unit. These units are is open to serve the public in its regular office hours. Nevertheless, all nonimmigrant and immigrant visa interviews are scheduled by appointment only.

Moreover, the US embassy in Thailand does not conduct transactions during holidays. The holidays are determined by the American declared holidays and the Thai public holidays. It is greatly advisable to do all the immediate matters before the holiday because the consular offices are closed.
